Blues record second successive victory as season gets off to perfect start

Goals from Declan Daniels and Tristan Nydam ensured Town's U18s would build on their opening day victory over Nottingham Forest, as Alan Lee's side saw off Watford 2-1 at Playford Road this morning.

The Hornets had a half-time lead due to a controversial penalty, but Declan Daniels levelled things up after a cagey start to the second period with a beautiful finish past Jamie Aley in the Watford goal.

Town continued to apply pressure after the equaliser, and got their reward as a superbly delivered Brett McGavin free-kick was nodded home by Nydam.

The goal was enough to see the Blues to victory as they held firm to secure their second successive victory.
