Paul Jewell has confirmed to the Club website that he is waiting on the outcome of a bid for a player.
The Town boss warns though that Blues might have to be patient and go beyond the transfer window before being able to supplement his squad.
“We have made an offer for a player today and we are waiting to see how that goes,” Paul told www.itfc.co.uk.
“It’s an offer for a player that I have admired for a while and hopefully it will be accepted but I’m not going to say anymore than that.
“We know we need to improve but we may have to be patient and wait until the transfer window has closed and the Premier League clubs know where they are.
“We might have to bite the bullet for a week or two until we can try and get to where we want to be with the squad.”
