Town have made a fourth signing of the summer with Jonathan Parr joining Blues as a free agent.
The 25-year-old Norway international has signed a two year deal and will fly out to Ireland on Tuesday to join the rest of the Town squad ahead of the first pre-season friendly against Shelbourne on Saturday.
Jonathan began his career playing league football in his homeland before joining Crystal Palace on a three year contract in the summer of 2011.
The defender was a regular in the Eagles’ team that won promotion to the Premier League in 2012/13, although an ankle injury sustained in their defeat at Portman Road in April curtailed his season early.
He clocked up more than 100 appearances for Palace in total, 15 of them in the Selhurst Park club’s Premier League campaign last term.
Capped at U17, U19 and U21 level for Norway, he has also made nine appearances for the senior side.
Jonathan joins Cameron Stewart, Stephen Hunt and Alex Henshall in signing for Blues this summer.
