New loan recruit Jordan Graham has told Ipswich Player that he can’t wait to get going after joining the ‘perfect’ club.
The 18-year-old Aston Villa winger has signed for Blues until January 4 and looks set to be included in the squad for the Championship trip to Charlton after being handed the number 17 shirt.
“The gaffer [Paul Lambert] told me on Tuesday night that Ipswich wanted me and I jumped at it,” Jordan told the Club website.
“I’ve played for the U21s at Villa for a couple of years but the move here is great for me, this is the challenge I want and I can’t wait to get going and show what I can do.
“It’s going to be a great experience for me. I know Ipswich has got a great history and the fanbase is really big as well.
“The gaffer at Villa said it was the perfect place for me to come and play football. He said Ipswich is a good club, that they get good crowds and that the manager here is a top guy so I’m delighted to have a chance to play here.”
