Vote for the music YOU want at Portman Road

The Club want to hear from Town fans before deciding on the music played as the players enter the pitch and immediately before kick-off for the new season.

Town have been contacted by supporters looking for a change to the Singing the Blues anthem that has traditionally been played just before the start of the game and some alternatives have been suggested.

The Club are also open to ideas for the rousing track that is played around Portman Road as the players come out of the tunnel, with My Way, Titanium and Carnival De Paris just three of the more popular choices.

So here's your chance to have your say. Below are listed six possible anthems and 12 possible entrance music tracks. Listen to the sounds and then cast your vote for your preferred choice.

If you don't agree with the nominated tracks and have your own suggestions, then please email to
music@itfc.co.uk, clearly outlining which song for which category.

The voting system is being used as guide by the Club before deciding on the 'line-up' for the new season.

Club Anthem
My Way
A favourite of Town legend Sir Bobby Robson, the Frank Sinatra hit was sung to the rafters around Portman Road when the North Stand was renamed in his honour.

Singing the Blues (reworked)
Currently played before kick-off at Town, it's more up tempo than the original and has been the sound of the Blues for the last two or three years.

Singing the Blues (original)
The original version was used at Portman Road for many seasons and was sung around Wembley after Play-Off glory in 2000.

Hey Jude
Town fans have their own version of this Beatles classic.

Live is Life
No Town connection but a fun, catchy easy-to-singalong track by Opus that has been used by some of the top European giants. Check out how apt the lyrics are - and the Maradona dance to the sound on YouTube.

Keep right on to the end of the road
The Town anthem during the glory years of League Championship and European honours. Birmingham use their version of the track.
