Striker pens 18 month contract at Portman Road to become Mick's fourth addition of the January window

Town have completed the signing of Frank Nouble from Wolves for an undisclosed fee, with the striker penning an 18 month contract at Portman Road.

The move for the 21 year-old represents a fourth signing of the January transfer window for Blues boss Mick McCarthy, after previously adding Patrick Kisnorbo, David McGoldrick and Aaron Mclean to his ranks.

The Londoner began his career at Chelsea before moving on to West Ham in 2009 for an undisclosed fee.
Frank was in Suffolk last night to undergo a medical, before training with his new team-mates this morning.

During his time with the Hammers, Frank took in a whole host of loan spells away from Upton Park including stints with West Brom, Swindon, Swansea Charlton, Gillingham and two separate spells at Oakwell with Barnsley.

The striker then joined Mick’s former Club Wolves in the summer on a two year deal but struggled to break into then-manager Stale Solbakken’s side and has now teamed up with Blues.

Frank will wear the number 35 shirt during his time at Portman Road.

Subscribers to Ipswich Player will be able to hear an exclusive interview with the new recruit later today. For all the latest Town news, follow the Blues on Twitter- @Official_ITFC.
