Defender returns from Olympic adventure

Tommy Smith will be back at Portman Road in time for Saturday's friendly against West Ham after the end of his Olympics dream.

The Town defender played in all three of New Zealand's games at London 2012 but defeat by Brazil yesterday meant his side finished bottom of the group and didn't qualify for the quarter-finals.

"Tommy should be back with us tomorrow and we'll have a look at him from there," said Town boss Paul Jewell.

Saturday's game against West Ham kicks off at 3.00pm with all Junior Blues having free entry to the game. Under 16s will also be allowed in free if accompanied by a ticket purchasing adult.

Under 16s not accompanied by an adult can purchase tickets at £1 if a season ticket holder or £3 if a non-season ticket holder.

Concession prices (over 60s/under 20s) are set at £9 for season ticket holders and £10 for non-season ticket holders. Adult prices are £14 for season ticket holders and £15 for non-season ticket holders.

Season ticket holders in all categories must purchase tickets before matchday to qualify for the discounted prices, otherwise the full figure will be charged.
