Those fans who stayed to the final whistle at Portman Road for the game against Coventry were treated to an unbelievable emotional roller coaster with Pablo Counago scoring such an excellent goal in the 97th minute.

This followed the fourth official showing an additional four minutes of extra time and Richard Wood scoring an equaliser for Coventry in the 96th minute against the run of play.

I have spoken to a number of fans who are kicking themselves at leaving before Pablo's goal which really does show that it's not over until the final whistle and congratulations to the whole team for playing to that point.

Last week also saw a fantastic win by our U18s in the FA Youth Cup. For the third successive time this season they beat Arsenal and have now progressed to the Fifth Round, where have been drawn at home against Fulham, the winners of which will be at home to either Aston Villa or Millwall.

Our Academy is hugely dependant on sponsorship and support from local businesses. In this regard I'd like to particularly acknowledge and thank Peter Beadles (ROL Reader Offers Ltd), David Moat (Elite Electrical), Alan Gordon (Global ES Group), Colin Kreidewolf and Steven Doe for their generous sponsorship of the match against Arsenal.

It was an excellent result for both the players and coaching staff alike. I hope that as many people as possible will support the team at Portman Road once the date of the fixture is agreed, which should be later this week.

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the magnificent 3000 fans who travelled to Southampton for our FA Cup fixture last weekend. Once again our travelling fans were vocal and were hugely supportive of the team and Roy, and we know that our disappointment was equally felt in particular by all those who made the trip.

Our focus is now exclusively on the Championship and if recent form, one loss in 14 League games, can be continued over the second half of the season, particularly if we secured a greater percentage of wins, anything is possible.

Last week I was appointed one of the Football League's Ambassadors for their chosen charity Help for Heroes. Since then I've been inundated with requests and suggestions as to how the Club might involve itself in this worthwhile initiative.

I am pleased to confirm that we have designated the final match of the season on 2nd May as the opportunity to celebrate and recognise the huge contribution and sacrifice undertaken by our serviceman and women on our benefit.

It will also give us an opportunity of recognising the locally based 16th Air Assault Brigade before they depart for a tour of duty in Afghanistan later in the summer.

We know that tonight's game against West Bromwich Albion will be tough, they've only lost away from home on one occasion this season so it should be a good match. I'd like to welcome their Chairman, Jeremy Peace, his fellow directors, manager, players and staff to Portman Road for this evening's fixture.
Enjoy the game.
