Town picked up a first point of the season but it could and should have been more with Simon Walton and Nick Forster both going close.

Town boss Jim Magilton gave debuts to on-loan duo Walton and Mark Noble, with Alex Bruce starting at right-back, Lewis Price coming in for Shane Supple in goal.
Alan Lee sent a header over as early as the second minute after good work by Forster as Blues started brightly, Jaime Peters then sending a shot over the bar after another Forster set-up.

Dean Marney had a free-kick straight at Price from 30 yards, then Andy Dawson was yellow carded on 22 minutes for delaying a free-kick before Hull had their best chance of the opening half, Nick Barmby sending a left foot volley over the bar from close range.
Craig Fagan fired over the bar from 40 yards with Price off his line but it was Town that finished the half with a flourish.
Walton sent over the ball over the bar from six yards after Forster's cross had evaded Gavin Williams in the best chance of the game then Forster carved an opportunity for himself, hooking the ball over the bar after appearing to be caught by a Hull boot in the box.
Williams picked up his third booking in four games in the early stages of the second-half as both sides looked for a way to break the deadlock. Marney firing straight at Price from six yards after Ryan France's cross had fallen in his path - a clear opening for the Tigers.
Danny Haynes replaced Lee on 70 minutes, Barmby making way for Daryl Duffy in the first changes for both clubs, with Darren Currie coming on for Lee soon after.
Walton miskicked in front of goal, while at the other end Dan Harding's challenge blocked out Marney when the midfielder looked sure to score.
Currie sent a free-kick straight at Boaz Myhill after Harding had been fouled before Blues made their final substitution, Fabian Wilnis replacing Bruce with five minutes left.
Haynes' pace on the right caused Hull's defence problems and his cross was almost converted by Noble, Michael Turner making a timely intervention.
On the other flank, Currie found space to cross, forcing a corner as Blues camped around the Tigers' goal, Haynes denied by Sam Collins' challenge but Hull held on for a point.
