ALEX LOOKS FOR LAUNCH PAD
Alex Bruce says Town have to build on the form shown over the closing weeks of the season when the new campaign kicks off in August.
Sunday's 3-1 win over Cardiff made it just one defeat in Town's last eight games, five of them ending in victory as Jim Magilton's first year in charge ended in a 14th place finish.
"We have shown what we are capable over the last six weeks or so and need to carry that on next season," Alex told Ipswich World.

Alex - must do better |
"With the manager we have here, the coaching staff and the players, 14th is not good enough and we need to make sure we move on to bigger and better things.
"We are all determined to hit the ground running next year and if we can add a few new faces to the squad, there is no reason why we shouldn't be competing at the top end of the table.
"The supporters have been fantastic this season and they make this Club what it is. With their backing we can really push on now."
