ALAN SIGNS ON
Alan Lee has put pen to paper on a new two year contract and then told the Club website that he's focused on getting Town back in the Premiership.
The Republic of Ireland international was the subject of two bids from Hull recently with Town immediately rejecting the Tigers' approach.
The Town striker admitted it was an unsettling time with all the speculation about his future but now he's delighted to finalise a new contract and can now concentrate on progressing with Blues.
"I'm obviously delighted to get things sorted but it was never in my mind to move on," Alan told the Club website.
"There was a lot of speculation around and family and friends are asking you what is going on but I took it as a positive that clubs were interested in me.
"I didn't let it affect me and now things have been confirmed I can look to the future here and I can only see it being a bright future for this Football Club.
"We have some very good players and I want to play my part in helping Ipswich get back in the Premiership."
