Jim Magilton has welcomed Dean Bowditch back into the first-team squad for the visit to West Brom.

The 21-year-old striker has not featured in the first-team since the 5-0 win over Luton last October and has hardly played any football since the turn of the year after sustaining a groin injury.

He underwent surgery in the summer and marked his return to action with a hat-trick for the reserves in the 5-4 win over Southend on Monday.

"Dean has looked lively in training and his hat-trick against Southend has sent out some signals," Town boss Jim told the Club website.

"We are delighted that he is back playing football after what has been a frustrating time for him with injuries.
