THRILLER IN PROSPECT

Posted on: Mon 03 Mar 2008

Jim Magilton is expecting another cracking atmosphere on Tuesday night that always seems to occur when Sheffield United are at Portman Road.

Blues face the Blades with Town looking to cement a place in the top six, while Sheffield are fighting to avoid a relegation scrap.

"Evening games at our place always conjure up a great atmosphere and I'm sure Tuesday night will be no different," Jim told the Club website.

"Our supporters have been fantastic this year and I'm looking for the place to be rocking again for what is obvously a big game for both clubs.

"Sheffield United at home brings back a lot of memories for supporters here, matches between the two clubs always seem to be ones to watch and I'm hoping this game will be no different.

"I'm sure Kevin Blackwell will be looking for a reaction from his players after their defeat by Charlton at the weekend and we need to push on and hold down a top six place so it sets it up for a terrific game and a great atmosphere."

Tickets for Tuesday's game are still avaiable. Click on the ticket page of the Club website for full details.
