Town boss Jim Magilton is expecting to confirm Dean Bowditch's future next week when the players return to training.

The 22-year-old is out of contract at Portman Road but has been offered a new one year deal.

Dean didn't make a first-team appearance for Town last season but Blues boss Jim Magilton told the Club website: "He has been offered a new one year contract and we will see where that takes us.

"Dean's away on holiday at the moment and thinking over his decision and I'm sure we will be talking next week."

Town's first-team squad begin pre-season training on Wednesday, June 25, although some of the players are already working with fitness coach Simon Thadani.
