Dean Bowditch has agreed a new one year contract at Portman Road.

The 22-year-old striker's current deal came to an end last season but he will sign a new one year extension next week.

Dean progressed through the Academy at the Club, making his first-team debut as a 16-year-old in the 2-0 win at Norwich in March 2003.

He has gone on to make 81 appearances for the Club but did not feature in the first-team last season, spending time on loan at Brighton and Northampton.

"I've spoken to Dean and is staying with us for another year," confirmed Town boss Jim Magilton.
