ASDA Ipswich join the summer signings for Town
From Friday 1st August, Ipswich Town season ticket holders, Silver Club and Junior Blues members will be able to collect TeamCard points at ASDA in Ipswich.
ASDA's Ipswich store are offering one TeamCard point for every £1.00 spent at the store (excluding purchases of petrol, postage stamps, lottery, cigarettes, mobile phone top up cards and gift cards), so TeamCard holders who spend around £100 on their weekly shop at the store through the year could receive a £50 discount on their next season ticket at Portman Road.
Once fans have finished their shopping in ASDA Ipswich, they need to take their receipt and their TeamCard (season ticket or membership card) to the Customer Services Desk where the appropriate number of TeamCard points will be added to their account. TeamCard points can only be added to the TeamCard on the day that the customer has visited the store.
The Club will also be issuing TeamCard key fobs from Planet Blue stores. The key fobs will be linked to the TeamCard account so fans can encourage family members to collect points on their behalf at any participating TeamCard retailer.
What's more, Blues shoppers who collect TeamCard points from ASDA Ipswich between August 1 and October 31, 2008 will also have the chance to win the ultimate fan experience. Each time they use their TeamCard at ASDA Ipswich, Town supporters will receive an entry into a prize draw with the winner and a guest enjoying a VIP trip to the training ground, including watching the first team train - and lunch with the players.
They will also experience a match at Portman Road VIP style with matchday hospitality and Directors' Box seats for a game this season, plus a signed home shirt. The winner will also receive a gift voucher worth £250.00 from ASDA.
Speaking about the new partnership between Ipswich Town and ASDA, the Club's Sales & Marketing Director, Andrew Goulborn, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for our fans to collect more TeamCard points and as a result save money on their next season ticket or ITFC merchandise."

To celebrate the new partnership, Town summer recruits Richard Wright and Kevin Lisbie will take part in a signing session at ASDA Ipswich at 4pm on Thursday, July 31.
