Town boss Jim Magilton will be showing Ivan Campo around Portman Road today as they discuss the possibility of the former Spanish international joining Blues.

The 34-year-old defender or midfielder was a guest of the Club's at the friendly against West Ham on Monday night and watched the match from the directors' box.

Campo picked up a Champions' League winners' medal with Real Madrid before moving to Bolton, where he became a firm favourite with the Wanderers fans in a five year stay.

He was released in the summer and has been linked with a move to other Premier League clubs but Jim told the Club website: "I will be showing Ivan around the training ground and Portman Road.

"He has played at the highest level for many years and is someone I feel could do a good job for us.

"He's got bags of experience and could come into the Club and really help our younger players but we haven't got that far down the line yet.

"We will sit down and have a chat and if there is something that we can sort out, then great. If not, we move on."
