Pablo Counago has praised Ivan Campo for the impact his fellow Spaniard has had on the Town side over recent weeks.
The former Real Madrid player was handed a first start in more than two months by Blues boss Jim Magilton in the Boxing Day defeat by Birmingham.
He impressed in that game, playing in the heart of the Blues' defence and has continued that form, helping Town to clean sheets and wins over Derby and Chesterfield in the FA Cup.
Speaking to Ipswich World, Pablo said: "It was a strange situation for Ivan, being out of the team but he has come back into the side and is playing really well.
"He is showing what he can do on a football pitch. He has brought some extra quality into the side with his passing, both long and short and has made a big impact for us."
