David Norris will celebrate his first year at Town by facing the man he says got his career going, Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock.
The midfielder joined the Club from the Pilgrims on transfer deadline day last year and fate has it that his former club and boss stand in the way of a happy anniversary for the 27-year-old.
"Paul Sturrock was brilliant for me. He took me to Plymouth and gave me a contract there and a start in the game," says 'Chuck', who joined Argyle from Bolton in 2002.
"I never really got going at Bolton and it was at Plymouth under his management that my career really began.
"I can only say good things about him and he's done a great job at Plymouth on a shoestring budget. Maybe he doesn't get the credit he deserves for that.
"I wasn't overly surprised when he went back after Ian Holloway left last year. He gets on well with the chairman and he loves that part of the world. The fans back him and he was the right man for the job at the time when the club was perhaps in a bit of turmoil."
David's return to Home Park in October was a mixed one. He was part of Blues' 3-1 success but was red carded in the dying seconds of the game.
It was the reaction of the Pilgrims fans that sticks in his mind though. "I had a great relationship with the supporters down there and I was hoping to get a reasonable reception when I went back but it surpassed anything that I was expecting," he says.
"The fans were brilliant to me on the day. They chanted my name and gave me a clap when I came out and I really appreciated that. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was and I was really grateful to the supporters for that.
"I had six good years at Plymouth but the time had come to move on and I joined the right club in Ipswich Town."
Saturday's matchday programme carries an in-depth interview with David on the highs and lows of his first year at Portman Road.
