Jim Magilton was left frustrated as Town dropped two points to Plymouth and felt Blues should have had a penalty.
Pablo Counago appeared to have been pulled to the ground by Krisztian Timar in the first-half but referee Darren Deadman waved away the appeals as the Pilgrims left with a goalless draw.
"I thought the lad clambered all over Pablo and it was a penalty but the referee didn't seem to see it," Jim told the Club website.
"We had chances in the first-half but didn't take them and as the game grew on, they started to gain confidence and felt they could get something out of it.
"The last 20 minutes we camped in their half and Kevin Lisbie had a great header at the end that could have gone in so it was a frustrating 90 minutes.
"Credit to Plymouth, they got players behind the ball and that is what we are facing at home at the moment, teams coming here and frustrating us.
"We have to keep believing though that we are going to get something out of the season.
"We've had a very good run with 11 points from 15 and we have to look to go again next Saturday at Swansea."
