Ed Upson has been given the green light to join Leyton Orient on trial.

The 19-year-old midfielder is set to play in at least one reserve team game for the O's, who are managed by former Town midfielder and Colchester boss, Geraint Williams.

Ed, who is out of contract in the summer, spent time on loan at Stevenage earlier this season and recently returned from an extended trial period at Southend.
