TWO DOUBTS FOR DERBY

Posted on: Mon 13 Apr 2009

David Wright and Jon Walters are both worries for Town ahead of next weekend's derby after being forced off with injuries at Ashton Gate.

David limped off on the half hour while Jon lasted only a few minutes of the second-half and the pair will be assessed by the Town physio team on Tuesday.

"Wrighty has had a recurrence of his hamstring and Jon has got a problem with the same ankle that he injured at Wolves," explained Town boss Jim Magilton.

"We will see how they are during the week but obviously they have to be doubtful for the Norwich game at this stage."

David has been hindered by hamstring problems recently and returned to the side on Saturday after a two week absence while Jon was also making his comeback against Doncaster after recovering from ankle ligament damage.
