Roy Keane has told the Club website that he expects to know whether Liam Trotter and Shane Supple will be staying with Blues next week.

Ed Upson signed a new one year deal this morning, following on from Alex Bruce putting pen to paper on a two year contract last month.

Liam and Shane are both out of contract at the end of this month but have been offered new deals and Roy told the Club website: "We are getting closer to a decision with both of them.

"It's that time at the moment when you have people away on holiday and we've also been involved in things like redeveloping the training ground but I expect it to be sorted out one way or another next week."

Shane has told the Club website that he wants to stay at Portman Road. As well as Town's offer, Liam is reported to be interesting Scunthorpe, who he helped to League One Play-Off success while on loan there last season.
