Jaime Peters sat out Canada's Gold Cup win over El Salvador on Tuesday.

The Town wideman failed to add to his 18 caps as Canada eased to a 1-0 win, following up their success also by a solitary goal against Jamaica on Friday.

Jaime didn't feature in that victory either but will be hoping to line up against Costa Rica on Friday as Canada look set to progress from their group into the latter stages of the competition in the United States.
