TOWN CLOSE IN ON HEALY
Roy Keane has confirmed that Town are close to signing Colin Healy from Cork City.
The 29-year-old Republic of Ireland international has had a medical at Portman Road and is in discussions with the Club over personal terms.
Healy who started his career at Celtic and went on to play for Sunderland, Livingston and Barnsley before joining Cork, his hometown club in 2007, had a trial with Town under Jim Magilton's management in 2006 and wore the blue shirt in a friendly against Boston.
"We had permission from Cork on Tuesday to speak to Colin and I had a chat with him yesterday," Roy told the Club website.
"He's had a medical and we are waiting for the results of that and he's now discussing personal terms. Hopefully they will be finalised very soon and I expect him to be an Ipswich Town player at some stage today."
