BOSS LEFT FRUSTRATED

Posted on: Sun 06 Dec 2009

Roy Keane felt Town did enough to have taken all three points as Blues were held to a goalless draw at Ashton Gate.

Jon Stead, Owen Garvan and Pablo Counago all had excellent chances to have given Town the points, while Danny Haynes hit the post twice for Bristol City.

"We had some great chances and I would have expected us to have taken at least one of them," said Roy.

"Pablo should have scored and with that chance coming so late on, it would have put us in a great position but we should have been ahead at the break anyway, possibly by two goals.

"It's frustrating. People might look at it as four points from two away games and think that's okay but in the position we are in , we need wins and we should have had one today.

"I suppose it's sign of the progress we are making in that we are disappointed in only getting a draw at a place like Ashton Gate but that doesn't make it any easier. We should have won."
