OWEN EXPECTS TOUGH TEST

Posted on: Thu 10 Dec 2009

Owen Garvan is expecting a tough examination from a Blackpool side that have surprised many in the Championship this season at Portman Road on Saturday.

The Seasiders are in the Play-Off places after their 3-0 win at Middlesbrough on Tuesday night and the midfielder tells the Club website: "They are having a fantastic season.

"The manager there, Ian Holloway, has done an unbelievable job and they are rightly in the top six.

"They are playing some good football and I think it will be a harder game for us than on Tuesday night against Peterborough. They had a great win at Middlesbrough and they will come to our place full of confidence."

Former Blue, Billy Clarke, looks likely to miss the game with a hamstring injury.
