LIAM IN LOAN TO LIONS

Posted on: Tue 05 Jan 2010

Liam Trotter has joined Millwall on a month's loan.

It will be a second loan spell at the New Den for the 21-year-old midfielder, who played three games for the Lions when former Blues' coach Willie Donachie was manager there in the autumn of 2006.

Liam will train with his new team-mates this week before their League One visit to Carlisle on Saturday.

He was in the Scunthorpe side that beat Millwall in last season's League One Play-Off Final at Wembley but turned down the chance to join Iron in a permanent deal, signing a new one year contract with Blues in the summer.

Liam was a regular in the Town side over the first three months of the season but has not featured since the win over Derby at the end of October.
