FAIR RESULT SAYS BOSS

Posted on: Sun 10 Jan 2010
Roy Keane felt the draw was a fair result at the Walkers Stadium but was disappointed Town didn't build on the early goal.

David Norris is claiming Blues' opener after 20 seconds, the midfielder getting on the end of Jack Colback's cross with Ryan McGivern getting the last touch.

Steve Howard gave the Foxes a point with a 38th minute equaliser and Roy said: "A draw was probably about right but we are disappointed we didn't get the win, although Arran [Lee-Barrett] did make the best save of the game.

"We had chances before their equaliser but we've not been scoring enough goals all season and that was the case again today.

"We didn't build on the early goal and that was disappointing. We didn't pass the ball that well and we know we can play a lot better than what we did but I suppose it's a sign of the progress we are making, that we came away from Leicester, who are having a good season, disappointed with just the point.

"Draws are not going to take us up the league very quickly but it's a point that we got and we'll take it and move on."
