Roy Keane says there is a possibility more of his squad will go out on loan once the window reopens next week.

Alex Bruce and Tamas Priskin have joined Leicester and QPR respectively until the end of the season, while Liam Trotter has extended his loan with Millwall until May.

Tommy Smith has been given the green light to stay at Brentford for another two months before returning to Portman Road but Blues have a 24 hour recall on the defender.

"With David Healy and Murph [Daryl Murphy] coming in, we have to balance the books on the wages side of it. I can't just bring in players on top of players," Roy told the Club website.

"That's why we let Tamas [Priskin] go to QPR and Alex Bruce to Leicester. Alex is an intelligent lad and when the offer came in, he wanted to take it. He's not played many games lately and he'll get his opportunity at Leicester.

"Tamas may well benefit from a change of scenery. He's got his mate at QPR [Akos Buzsaky] and it wouldn't surprise me if he scores goals there because he's a talented lad.

"They will both go and play football and I wouldn't be surprised if one or two more of our lads go out on loan after next week. We will have a look at that."
