NO MORE LOANS LIKELY SAYS BOSS

Posted on: Thu 25 Feb 2010

Roy Keane has told the Club website that he is not looking to see any more of his first-team squad go out on loan this season.

Tommy Smith is spending three months on loan at Brentford, Alex Bruce is at Leicester until the end of the season, with Tamas Priskin at QPR and Colin Healy at Falkirk on similar agreements.

Liam Trotter and Jon Stead are with Millwall and Coventry respectively until May, while Kevin Lisbie has been on a season long loan at Colchester and the Town boss is not looking to add to that number.

"I want to keep the squad quite tight in terms of numbers and I think we are at that level now," Roy told the Club website.

"We still have a lot of games to be played so I'm not looking to let any of the squad go out on loan at the moment."

Roy is not concerned about adding to his squad either, saying: "I've got one or two players in the back of my mind if we had any injuries but there are no immediate plans to bring anyone in over the next week or two."
