"It was good to get the chance to meet the youngsters and they had obviously enjoyed the time they spent with the Community Trust" said Carlos.
Community Trust PfS Manager Elizabeth Newby added "The students really enjoyed meeting the players as well as getting the opportunity to ask a few questions too."
Playing for Success (PfS) is a national 'out of hours learning' programme designed to raise achievement in literacy, numeracy and ICT skills in 11 to 14 year olds. The programme uses sport as a key device to help improve skills and raise self-esteem and levels of motivation in students involved on the course
Students from other Community Trust's Playing for Success programmes were rewarded for their hard work with a visit from four other Ipswich Town players.
