Roy Keane has praised the development of Tom Eastman, who has impressed the Town boss with his performances for the reserves and Academy this season.

The central defender, a second year Academy scholar, is playing for a contract at the Club and the signs are encouraging.

"Tom has done very well. I have been very impressed by him," says Roy.

"He has shown a good attitude. He has got his head down and worked hard at his job. He's a level headed lad as well. He just gets on with it and that's credit to his parents.

"He's scored a couple of goals recently and he has earned the chance to train with the first-team."
