Liam Rosenior says the future holds no fears for him despite becoming a free agent in the summer.
The 25-year-old defender, who is on loan at Town from Reading, is out of contract at the end of the season and is not sure where he will be next term.
He had been a regular in the Blues' team until last month but has been in and out of the side since and was on the bench for last week's draw at Swansea.
The former England U21 international is hoping to feature against his parent club at Portman Road on Saturday but told the Club website: "I'm not sure where my future will be but I'm not worried about it.
"I have played for two great clubs in Ipswich and Reading and we will see what happens in the summer.
"Some 18 months ago, I expected and in some ways wanted to be in this position at this stage. Living on the edge so to speak can bring out the best in you."
Liam also reveals that he is not surprised that Reading have kicked into form and are now making a late burst for the top six.
"I always felt that Reading and us had the players to put a run together and climb the table and I felt it was probably more likely to be us," he says.
"We've just not been able to find that consistency but Reading are certainly in a rich vein of form at the moment and they will come to Portman Road in confident mood."
