GO OUT IN STYLE SAYS BOSS

Posted on: Thu 29 Apr 2010

Roy Keane is looking for Town to finish the season on a winning note in front of what is expected to be a big crowd against Sheffield United on Sunday.

Ticket sales were approaching 22,000 already this morning and with many displays and events planned on the day to raise awareness and funds for the Football League's charity for this season, Help for Heroes, that number may well swell.

On the pitch, the Town boss also wants his team to make their mark and told the Club website: "Our fans have been magnificent this season.

"We have not given them much to shout about this year but hopefully we can finish the season on a winning note with three points against Sheffield United."

Roy has hinted that he may give one or two of his youngsters a run out against the Blades.

"One of the positives from this season has been the progress of one or two of our younger players," he added.

"Connor [Wickham] has obviously made great strides forward. Shane O'Connor has come in and done well and Billy Clark has had a look in our last two games. One or two of the other youngsters may get a chance on Sunday as well."
