LIAM AIMING FOR WEMBLEY RETURN

Posted on: Tue 18 May 2010

Liam Trotter will be hoping to book a return journey to Wembley when he plays for Millwall in the Play-Offs tonight.

The Town midfielder, on loan with the Lions until the end of May, is set to line up at the New Den against Huddersfield in the second-leg of their League One semi-final, with the tie deadlocked at 0-0.

Liam was a League One Play-Off winner with Scunthorpe at Wembley last season having joined the Iron on loan. Ironically Millwall were the beaten finalists.

Former Blues Jordan Rhodes and Gary Roberts will be in the Huddersfield side while alongside Liam in the Lions' line-up is fellow Town team-mate Scott Barron.

Also in action tonight is Connor Wickham, who looks likely to lead the line for England as they open up their U17 European Championship group with a game against the Czech Republic. Kick-off 7.30pm.
