LEAVING TOWN

Posted on: Wed 02 Jun 2010

Liam Trotter has agreed to join Millwall in a two year deal.

The midfielder spent the second half of the season on loan at the New Den and was in the Lions' team that lifted the League One Play-Off trophy with victory over Swindon at Wembley last Saturday.

Out of contract at Portman Road this summer, Trotter was offered a new contract by Blues but has decided to join the south Londoners in a permanent deal.

Also leaving Portman Road is coach Steve Foley, who came to the end of his contract at the Club this week.

Foley has been on the coaching staff at the Club for four years. He is set to take up a coaching position in the US with Tampa Bay Rowdies.
