Town kick-off the first of two friendlies against Premier League opposition in four days when West Ham visit Portman Road on Saturday.
Blues' boss Roy Keane is looking to step up preparations for next week's Championship kick-off against Middlesbrough with a good performance against the Hammers and then again against a Tottenham X1 on Tuesday.
West Ham are set to include former Town favourite Kieron Dyer in their squad for the game, along with England internationals Matthew Upson, Carlton Cole, Scott Parker and Robert Green.
"It will be a step up for us obviously after the games against Leiston and Bury in midweek," Roy told the Club website.
"Having said that, both those clubs deserve a lot of credit because those games were played at a good tempo and were very competitive.
"It will be a good test for the players against Premier League opposition and we will be looking to move up a level in terms of preparation for what really counts and that's Middlesbrough next weekend."
West Ham will bring a large travelling support to Portman Road with over 2000 tickets already sold to the London club.
Gates open at 1.30pm with cash turnstiles in operation. Tickets are priced at £20 adults; £15 concessions and £5 for U16s.
