Marton Fulop is hoping regular first-team football at Town can help him win back his No.1 spot for Hungary.
The 27-year-old 'keeper has lost his place to Gabor Kiraly at national team level, with the former Crystal Palace stopper and now 1860 Munich player in goal for their recent defeat by England in a friendly at Wembley.
"I have been number one for my country but Gabor is playing at the moment," Marton told the Club website.
"I need to show consistency for my club first and then hopefully I can prove that I can be number one for my country again."
Marton is currently away on international duty alongside Town team-mate Tamas Priskin for their Euro 2012 qualifiers against Sweden and Moldova and believes Hungary can make it to the finals.
"As a team we are getting there," he says. "We were in a good position at one stage in the last World Cup qualifiers but lost our last few matches. I think that in the next two or four years, we will get to a major competition."
