Town boss Joe Royle has offered new deals to seven of the nine players out of contract, with Alun Armstrong and Chris Bart-Williams released.
Alun has been available on a free transfer for most of the season while Chris signed a short term contract until June after initially joining on loan from Charlton.

Joe - contracts offered to seven
Jim Magilton, Jermaine Wright, Lewis Price, John McGreal, Chris Makin, Fabian Wilnis and Richard Naylor have all been in to see Joe today with contracts up for renewal this summer.
"Alun and Chris have not been offered new contracts but I have spoken to the others as well as those two players and there is something on the table for them to keep them at this Club," Joe told the Club website.
"It's now a case of waiting to see what they decide. Their current deals run until the end of June so they have time to make a decision although obviously we need to know as soon as possible."
