Deadline day for renewals
Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004
Early indications are that the season ticket renewals are running on similar lines to last year.
Around 10,000 season tickets have been processed and the Club have been receiving bumper postbags all through the week with close on 1000 applications arriving at the main Ticket Office in Constantine Road every day.
"It's too early to tell what the take up on the season ticket price freeze has been but I would say it looks to be very similar to last year at this stage," Town's Ticket Office Manager John Ford told the Club website.

The Blue Army
"It all looks very encouraging and the staff are working as quickly as possible to process the applications.
"The post has been heavy, particularly this week, and we are behind on the processing of tickets because of the Club's involvement in the Play-Offs but we are getting there."
The deadline for supporters to post their renewal applications is today (Friday, May 28) but John adds: "As long as the forms are in the post over the weekend, that will be okay."
Olympic bound British swimmer, Karen Pickering, is one of the 10,000 already signed up for next season.
The Ipswich-based Commonwealth Gold Medallist is a season ticket holder in the Britannia Stand and told the Club website: "I've renewed my ticket for next year already.
"The Football Club is a big part of the town and I've been a season ticket holder now for a couple of years and love the atmosphere at Portman Road.
"It would be nice to have a crowd like that at some of the swimming events!"
