Jim Magilton is definitely out of Saturday's opening League fixture against Gillingham but Jason De Vos will play.

Confirming the news to the Club website after training this morning, Town boss Joe Royle said: "As we thought, Jim hasn't made it.

"Jason trained okay though and he, Kevin Horlock and Matt Richards will all be fine for Saturday, with Jason skippering the side."

Jim is out with a thigh injury while Jason and Kevin have both recovered from knee problems. Matt is over a sore foot.
