Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004

Jason De Vos has been named in Canada's squad for their World Cup qualifying group campaign against Guatemala, Honduras and Costa Rica.

The Canadian international will fly home to link up with his international team-mates after Town's game at Derby on Saturday, his country opening their group matches with a home fixture against Guatemala on Wednesday, August 18.

The 6ft 4in defender is not expected to miss any Town games in that busy schedule though and says: "It's a lot of travelling but I am used to it now and have my own ways of dealing with it."
