Finland have trimmed their squad for their World Cup qualifier against Romania next week and Shefki Kuqi has not survived the cut.

The Town striker was named in an initial squad for the game which takes place on Wednesday, August 18 in Bucharest but national team coach Antti Muurinen has this afternoon decided to take 20 to Romania and Shefki is one of the players that loses out.
