Goals at the start and end of the game gave Newcastle a win over Blues but Academy Director Bryan Klug was pleased with the performance.

"We dominated much of the first-half after they took an early lead and should have been level at the break," Bryan told the Club website.

"The boys played really well and we were delighted with them at the break.

"We did not play as well in the second-half but still had as much of the play as Newcastle.

"They nicked a goal at the end to give them a scoreline that flattered them really."
