Chairman on Deano move
Town Chairman David Sheepshanks has hit out at recent reports claiming Dean Bowditch might be on his way to Liverpool in an exclusive interview with Ipswich World.
In a two part interview, the Chairman covers a whole range of subjects in a forthright and open manner, discussing the real story behind Charlton's £3m offer for Darren Bent, how Blues will tackle renewed interest in the striker during January's transfer window, if it comes, as well as the possibility of new arrivals at Portman Road, the battle to keep the young guns and his own future at the Club.

The Chairman
Speaking about the reported interest in Dean from Liverpool, the Chairman said: "I read reports that Dean was going to Liverpool and it's complete poppycock.
"It infuriates me to read some of this reporting. We all understand speculation sells newspapers, it's the way of the world but actually some of it has been dangerously close to inciting the fans to feel that decisions are being made against the best interests of the team. It's total rubbish.

Dean Bowditch - reports
"I know we have had the nightmare of relegation and everything that has gone with it but actually we are trying very hard to put things right and so far, so good."
