Jason De Vos will be suspended for Canada's World Cup qualifier in Costa Rica on Wednesday after it was revealed that he had been booked for a second time during the qualifiers.

The Town defender missed Canada's home defeat by Guatemala with a knee injury but played in the 1-1 draw with Honduras, scoring in the weekend clash in Edmonton.

He picked up a yellow card in that game to add to the one in the preliminary qualifiers against Belize.
