Jason De Vos has admitted that he is still dejected over Canada's exit from the World Cup and is now thinking seriously about his international future.

The Town defender was in the Canadian side beaten by Costa Rica last week, a defeat that ended the hopes of Frank Yallop's side qualifying for the 2006 finals in Germany.

"I am very disappointed with a lot that that went on during our World Cup campaign," Jason told the Club website.

"We had some bad decisions that went against us and lost leads that we should have held on to and the end result is that we are out of the World Cup.

"Since I was a young lad it has always been my dream to play in the World Cup finals and now I have to accept that it's not going to happen and that's very disappointing.

"I will be 36 by the time the next World Cup comes along and at that age, it's very unlikely that I will be playing international football.

"So I have some big decisions to make about my future with Canada. I will sit down with my family and discuss the situation and also speak to Frank Yallop.

"It's not something I will rush in to and I will give it careful thought but it's fair to say that I am considering my career at international level."

Jason has confirmed though that he will not be playing for Canada in their last World Cup qualifier against Guatemala.
