Travel problems for Jason

Posted on: Wed 17 Nov 2004

Jason De Vos admits that his hectic fixture schedule took its toll on him in the draw at Leicester on Tuesday.

The Town defender played twice for Canada in a week then travelled back to play for Blues in the draw with Burnley last Saturday before playing the full 90 minutes again at Leicester on Tuesday night.

"It has been pretty busy over the last two weeks or so and the travelling has been tough," Jason told the Club website.

"It has really hit me this week and certainly in the first-half at Leicester I could really feel the effects of the jet-lag.

"It was tough but hopefully with a couple of days rest now I will be fine for Saturday."

Jason is still troubled by his fractured toe but adds: "It's sore but it's improving and hasn't kept me out of playing or training."
