Kelvin Davis will be on the bench for Tuesday's Championship match against Sheffield United at Portman Road as he continues his recovery from a back injury.

The former England U21 international hasn't played since the 1-1 draw with Reading at the end of September but has stepped up his comeback over the last week.

Kelvin replaces Shane Supple in the 17 with Tommy Miller and Fabian Wilnis also included.

"Tommy has a kick on the calf but we are hopeful that he will make it," Town boss Joe Royle told the Club website.

"Fabian has not been ruled out either. It looked bad on Saturday when he came off but it turned out to cramp in his hamstring rather than a strain so we will see how he is on Tuesday.

"If both lads are out then I will look at adding either Antonio Murray or Darryl Knights to the squad."
